NWCDTP Online!

So a few months ago, I started a new role on the side of the PhD as one of the social media coordinators for the Arts and Humanities Research Council's North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP).  In addition to running various social media platforms, this involves organising and contributing to the consortium blog.  In my first post for NWCDTP online, I reflected on some of the stages of organising my first conference, 2017's Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient Literature, for which I recieved a generous grant from the NWCDTP's 'Cohort Development Fund'.  Hopefully some of this will be vaguely useful for any current students looking to apply for additional funding for student-led research activities and events!

P.S: There are lots of great posts from students at institutions all across the consortium on all aspects of their postgraduate studies, so go check them out.  If you are an NWCDTP student with some news or project updates you would like to share, please get in touch to find out how to contribute to the blog!
